Location is perfect. Excellent stuff especially Jorge ( reception) & Cezar ( bar service), always smiling & friendly, you feel people love their job ( Cezar singing and dancing preparing you the drinks). Don't hesitate to take the tour in the hotel, it gives you excellent visibility what's Salvador and where you would like to come back or spend the evening...

Lovely room, nice view, big bed. Staff was really nice and accommodating. We liked the pool, sauna and gym. Really good breakfast too.

This was not my first time in Portobello. I keep coming back there first the location, 2 staff very friendly and make me feel welcome, 3 the breakfast. On the top, with all these 3 things I mention here, we had an amazing night of sleep in the comfortable bed.

It has a very good location, facilities and breakfast. It is of easy access to the main tourist points in Salvador city, that can be easily taken by taxi, uber and public transport. We had our dinner at the hotel and we enjoyed a lot. Delicious!

Attentive staff, options for in-house dining and room service. Breakfast was good. Massive beds and comfortable and clean. Great pool.
